Itrane Sahara

Your house in the Sahara

Located in the Tafilalet region (the palm sea) where it is crossed by the Ziz and Rhéris, Itrane Sahara is a pint of departure for the discovery of the Saharan areas.

Surrounded by dunes. and bordering an oasis, the hostel faces the kem kem plateau.
A few kilometres away, the great Western Algerian Erg.

Starting point for hiking and trekking in dromedary.
We will use the Quads and the 4×4 for more distant destinations during the day or over several days.

The hostel is also ideal for relaxing in a familiae atmosphere.

To reach us you will walk along the Ziz valley from the provincial chief of the district, along palm groves and ksours, you will reach the cities of Erfoud and Rissani. Country of dates, gardens and handicrafts, you are in the heart of the Tafilalet which played an important economic role in the history of Morocco since located on the road of gold and caravans coming from Sudan and Guinea.


From Rissani you will head towards the imposing Erg Chebbi towards Merzouga. You will face the highest Moroccan dunes until you reach the village of Taouz (late tar). You'll only have 30 minutes left to join us on a good track.
